Ireland Paintings

The clutter of Irish villages is something I still find irresistable to paint.

Irish landscapes still attract me, often abstract almost in their existence. The shapes of Ireland's mountains, cliffs and fields continue to form a substantial part of my subject matter.

It might not be healthy but Celtic Kitsch still has a small hold on me. Going cross-eyed looking at the Book of Durrow does that.
