The Artist, Liam Daly

After several years in the US, I now live at home again in Dublin, Ireland, with my American dog and my bicycle. My studio is located in Lucan at the top of the Liffey valley.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland
Professional Artist since 1997
Resided in England in Liverpool, London, and Birmingham
Traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and America
Cycled solo across Europe (10 countries) in 1992, and across the USA (24 states) in 1996
Resident in USA 1999-2007
Paintings in private collections worldwide
Selected as an artist for Kansas City's Cow Parade in 2001
Exhibited at Art Shows and Festivals throughout American midwest
Paints primarliy in acrylic, but also in oils, watercolors, inks, and mixed media
Subject matter varies from cityscapes and landscapes, to abstract compositions
Urban and rural images are painted in high-keyed color and simplified forms, with shape playing a significant role
Paintings have been exhibited at:
