With the newer concrete elevators ruling the Plains with their Cathedral-like presence, the older more intimate elevators are mostly in disrepair. They are a wonderful collection of planes, a corrugated heaven of texture, form and colour.
For all the unused rusted structures I saw, I never saw any kids climbing in them.
