West Cork has that unreal feeling of tourist destinations meeting, well tourists. And it rains. I remember watching the water for hours. Listening to it. And then when I painted it, I painted the very town it echoed.
More historic forts than any town has a right to, it was the simpler buildings that grabbed me in Kinsale.
