It started with a ceramic dog, a boxer, that I drew regularly because I liked its form. But I was more of a Shaggy Dog man - I think you'll agree - so I painted the real dog I din't have based on the dog on the mantle that I did. So to speak.
There are matchsticks incorporated into this painting for texture and bold lines.
